Redfield Campus in south Reno closes due to fire; classes and event canceled

RENO, Nev. – The Redfield Campus, a shared campus of the University of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College, has been closed due to the fire burning in the Washoe Valley area. Classes and an event scheduled at the Redfield Campus for this evening, including a community open house hosted by the University’s Extended Studies Division, have been canceled.

The Redfield Campus is located on the Mt. Rose Highway, at 18600 Wedge Parkway, in south Reno.
