He received his PhD in 2004 from the University of Notre Dame. His research focus includes alternate energy. He had his hands in minority recruitment for underrepresented groups such as Hispanics, African Americans, and female students, education of K-12 students by recruiting through outreach coordinators and presentations to high school teachers by informing them about current state-of-the-art in research of alternate energy with focus on hydrogen and photovoltaics.
